To start the enrollment process, you will need:

  • Copy of insurance card (front and back)
  • Medical Diagnosis of ASD

The Stellar waitlist is not based on a fixed time frame; it operates on the availability of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and clients seeking services. The waitlist length can vary depending on factors such as the number of RBTs available to take on new clients and the demand for services. If you're looking to join the waitlist, it's helpful to regularly check in for updates and communicate any preferences or needs you may have to better align with available resources.

The Stellar intake process generally includes the following steps:

  1. Initial Contact: Interested clients or caregivers reach out to Stellar to express their interest in services. This can be done via phone, email, or an online form.
  2. Preliminary Screening: A brief assessment may be conducted to gather basic information about the client's needs, background, and goals. This helps in determining eligibility for services.
  3. Comprehensive Assessment: Once eligibility is confirmed, a more detailed evaluation is scheduled. This may include standardized assessments, interviews, and observations to understand the client's unique needs.
  4. Goal Setting: Collaborative discussions are held to set specific, measurable goals tailored to the client's requirements and preferences.
  5. Service Planning: Based on the assessment and goals, a personalized service plan is developed, outlining the services to be provided, frequency, and duration.
  6. Onboarding: Once the service plan is finalized, clients are formally onboarded, which may include introducing them to their assigned Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and explaining the process moving forward.
  7. Ongoing Communication: Throughout the service, there is consistent communication between clients, caregivers, and RBTs to monitor progress and make any necessary adjustments to the plan.

If you have any further questions about the process or specific steps, feel free to ask!

Staffing

The max caseload for our BCBAs are 8 clients per BCBA, so a 1:8 ratio.

The BCBA, or Ramella Lee, are present during all days and hours of operation. You might even find Ramella at the clinic on a Saturday!

Yes, all of our RBTs and BCBAs are credentialed through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and registered with the state of Nevada.

We utilize a 1:1 ratio at Stellar; each kiddo has a designated RBT. This RBT stays with them until it’s time to switch for generalization purposes.

The Director of Clinical Services, Ramella Lee, is an Assistant Professor for the ABA program at National University where she teaches the courses for becoming a BCBA. She is also a doctoral student and researcher at UNLV.

Insurance Coverage

Stellar is currently in-network with: Medicaid, UMR, HPN, and Silver Summit.

The cost of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy can vary widely depending on several factors, including the specific services required, the length of sessions, and your insurance coverage. Many insurance plans offer coverage for ABA therapy, which could mean that the cost is fully covered.

At Stellar, we do not accept private pay for our services. Therefore, we encourage clients to check with their insurance providers to understand their coverage options and any potential out-of-pocket expenses.
